Work with your agent

Choose what you want to accomplish, then give your agent the skill and a concrete task. Each skill carries the relevant procedures, public contracts, prerequisites and ways to check the result.

Choose a task

Build · v0.1.0

Build on Skulk™

Build a discoverable application with the capability SDK, inference APIs, streaming and durable jobs.

Have ready

  • An application idea
  • Python 3.13+ for the managed SDK
  • SDK package access for runtime tests

Starter prompt
Follow the skill at https://developers.foxlight.ai/skills/build-on-skulk/SKILL.md
Help me build my first managed capability. Start with a small working example, explain the SDK boundaries, and test it locally before connecting to my cluster.
Set up · v0.1.0

Set up Skulk™

Choose the right installation, bring a node online and verify a first model response.

Have ready

  • A supported Mac or Linux machine
  • Your intended release channel
  • Capacity and disk space for your chosen model

Starter prompt
Follow the skill at https://developers.foxlight.ai/skills/set-up-skulk/SKILL.md
Help me set up Skulk on this machine. Inspect the operating system, hardware and any existing installation, choose the appropriate documented release channel, and work toward one ready model and a successful inference request.
Connect · v0.1.0

Connect an agent or app

Connect a coding agent, chat application or workflow tool using the cluster’s live integration recipes.

Have ready

  • A reachable Skulk™ cluster
  • A ready model suitable for the tool
  • Access to the tool’s existing configuration

Starter prompt
Follow the skill at https://developers.foxlight.ai/skills/connect-to-skulk/SKILL.md
Help me connect Claude Code to my existing Skulk cluster. Use the dashboard’s live Integrations recipe, preserve my existing configuration, and verify a real request from the client.

Use a URL or install a skill

For one task: copy a starter prompt. An agent with URL access can read SKILL.md and fetch its supporting references as needed. Reading the URL does not install a skill permanently.

For repeated use: download a bundle and put its complete folder in your agent's configured skill directory. Keep the references and source manifest together, then reload skills using that agent's instructions. See installation guidance.

The skills use the open Agent Skills format. Supported import locations and invocation syntax vary by agent. They are public instructions and references; they do not include the SDK implementation or install Skulk™ by themselves.

What your agent reads

The same build publishes these pages as clean Markdown, alongside the skills and their references. Your agent can load the relevant slice without the site's navigation or presentation.

ResourcePurpose
Documentation indexFind the public guides and SDK references.
Skill catalogFind task descriptions, prerequisites, versions, file URLs and checksums.
/skills/<name>/SKILL.mdRead the skill's procedure and choose its supporting references.
/agent-docs/<guide>.mdRead the same guide content in Markdown.

Page metadata links to the Markdown alternative and documentation index. These resources are public and inspectable by people as well as agents. Automatic discovery varies by agent; a direct skill URL is the clearest handoff.

Versions and prerequisites

The first skills reference the site's pinned Skulk™ 2.0.0 next-channel docs; Build on Skulk™ also documents SDK 0.4.0. The installed runtime, available package release and client configuration version may differ. Each bundle includes exact source revisions so the agent can identify that boundary before changing things.

Your agent may need your operating-system permission, an existing cluster address, model access or an SDK package. It should explain the missing prerequisite and continue useful preparation where possible. A successful config edit is not proof that inference works; a successful SDK import is not proof of an installed capability.

Installation, operation and inference API contracts remain in Foxlight Docs. Application-building guides and the Video Studio tutorial remain here.
