Capability examples
These examples teach one boundary at a time. They are authored tutorial code, not SDK implementation source. They target SDK 0.4.0; execution requires an approved SDK wheel and compatible host.
| Example | You learn | Execution scope |
|---|---|---|
| Managed echo | Descriptor, startup, health, correlated results and shutdown | Complete child entrypoint; host supplies startup and signed manifest |
| Duplex echo | Input half-close, output sequencing and cleanup | Handler to integrate into a protocol-4 child |
| Operation identity | Canonical intent and safe retry identity | Direct SDK function example |
| In-process echo | Skulk™ extension registration and Fabric calls | Separate in-process authoring path |
| Video Studio | A full application with durable jobs and a UI | Guided walkthrough of the implemented integration |
Start with managed echo. Add streaming only when your operation needs it, and durable work only when an invocation cannot own the whole lifecycle. Examples deliberately identify what is complete and what still needs an application-owned integration.
