Plugin manifest and configuration
A manifest declares identity, compatible versions, operations, ordinary settings and credential inputs. Generic host management supplies settings storage and validation.
How it works
JSON Schema defaults are not guaranteed persisted values. Ordinary settings do not contain credentials. Validate configuration and declare required secrets separately. Schema changes and retained identities need explicit compatibility handling.
